Description: An easy way to make a fake heart when you need to get it done quick, and also make it last! Well, the quick part really is that you will have it that day, but it will take a few days to harden. Supplies are easy to find to create this type of prop, and is super effective for SFX Tiktoks, SFX makeup tutorial props, Halloween makeups, photos, whatever. This is how I have always created my fake hearts since the beginning and is easy for SFX beginners as well! Most are ordered online DIRECTLY from the COMPANY THAT MAKES THE PRODUCTS. Products Used: • Children's Air Dry Clay • Skin Illustrator Palette(s) - need to be activated with 99% isopropyl alcohol • You may sub the paint for other types of paint as well, but I highly recommend you wait for your prop to dry before painting. I did also end up sealing this with a clear coat of spray paint after, as the alcohol makeup will eventually wash away the more and more you hold it. The heart at the beginning of the video, I have had now for 4 years to give perspective of how well the clear coat will last you.
